Johnston &
Murphy

Below is a collection of creative initiatives developed for Johnston & Murphy, an established American footwear and apparel brand. Working within the existing brand identity, I developed creative across seasonal campaigns, digital, print, and retail touchpoints. My largest contribution to the Johnston & Murphy visual communication initiative was the 2023 Holiday Campaign where I served as the lead graphic designer and creator behind the development and execution:

My Role – Graphic Designer, Brand Design & Campaign Design

The Challenge – Create a holiday campaign that captured the warmth of the spirit of the season while maintaining Johnston & Murphy’s refined and timeless brand aesthetic.

The Solution – This resulted in a campaign inspired by the vintage train station seen in the seasonal imagery along with leaning into the phrase “Home for the Holidays” and sending greeting cards and gifts. Elements included custom stamp artwork, window display banners, pedestal wraps, window decals, table inserts, lightbox signage, tabletop signs, and clothing callout signage throughout the store.

The Impact – The campaign created a cohesive holiday expression across Johnston & Murphy’s customer-facing channels, allowing the brand to celebrate the season while maintaining the refined visual language that Johnston & Murphy has built over decades.

A highlight of this campaign for me was seeing my work on both 5th and Madison Avenue in New York! I never thought I would have the opportunity to work on projects like this, especially only 3 years into my career. I am still very grateful for this opportunity!
